Tun Cottage Terms and Conditions
All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of the deposit,
and at the quoted tariffs.
The prices featured in our Brochure and on our Web Site are per room per night.
These prices include accommodation as per the
specified room inclusive of continental breakfast & all usual amenities.
Your room will be available by 5.30pm on your specified day of arrival (earlier by prior arrangement)
and on your day of departure
we would ask that you vacate your room by 10.30am.
A deposit by Credit, Debit or Charge Card is normally required to guarantee your booking.
Cheques can also be accepted provided
that there is adequate time for clearing.
Accounts must be paid in full the night before departure.
We accept the following debit cards: UK Maestro, Solo, Visa debit, Debit Mastercard, Visa Electron.
We also take the following credit cards: Visa personal, Maestro International, Mastercard Personal,
Mastercard World Signia, and a Commercial/Corporate credit card and cash payments.
Please note a 2.5% surcharge applies to payments by credit card but 0% for debit cards.
Alternatively we take cheques with a valid guarantee card covering the amount due.
If for any reason you find it necessary to cancel your booking then please contact us on 01344 873073.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- There will be no cancellation charge if a booking is cancelled more than 72 hours before your date of arrival.
- If the booking is cancelled between 72 and 24 hours prior to arrival your deposit will not be refunded.
- If the booking is cancelled within 24 hours, or in the case of a no-show, you will be charged for the first
night (minus the deposit taken).
In the event of any cancellation or curtailment, and should the accommodations not be re-let,
the person who made this reservation with this
establishment and whose name appears on the booking form will be liable to pay for the cost of the first night's stay.
If the deposit has been paid using a credit or debit card authorised account number, then any payment due owing to
cancellation, curtailment or damage will also be made on this same account number by Tun Cottage.
The card holder will be notified of any such transaction.
If you are concerned about the possibility of cancellation you are advised to take out Travel Insurance.
Breakfast is between 07.00 hrs and 10.00 hrs and no allowances can be made for meals not taken.
Tun Cottage cannot accept responsibility for loss of guests' property, or for loss or damage
of property or vehicles in the car park.
Tun Cottage reserves the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any
person who is a party to that contract cause any detriment to the house or to the well being or comfort of other guests.
Lost keys will be charged at the rate of £20 per key.
If a guest damages or breaks an item then the person who made the reservation with this establishment and
whose name appears on the booking form will be liable to pay for the cost of repairing, or if not
possible or viable to repair, then for replacing the item.
Tun Cottage is a no-smoking house - including all the bedrooms and public areas.
Although we love our animal friends, for the comfort of other guests pets are not allowed. Sorry!
In the unlikely event that you have a problem during your stay, you must bring it to the attention of the owner
at the time to ensure that we have an opportunity to rectify it.
Tun Cottage Bed and Breakfast does not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions on the web site and reserve
the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured on the site without notice.
Use of Tun Cottage's Function Room is subject to other Terms and Conditions.
